Welcome!

Mount Dora High School is located in beautiful and historic Mount Dora, Florida, north of Orlando. The school opened in 1922.  Our award-winning band program consists of the Mount Dora Marching Canes, Wind Ensemble, Concert Band, two Jazz Ensembles, Jazz Combos, Woodwind Chamber Ensembles, Brass Chamber Ensembles, Percussion Chamber Ensembles, and our MDHS Colorguard.

We perform several concerts each year at Mount Dora High School as well as some public community concerts, and various competitive venues throughout the State of Florida. We also perform at several Mount Dora High School athletic and school-sponsored events as well. We utilize music performance to educate our students about culture, quality standards, organization, time management, leadership skills, and social skills through each of our outstanding ensembles.
